Ian Turner hails originally from Manchester, England where he began his professional music career as a drummer. He has played for many American Blues artists touring Europe including Lefty Dizz, Mojo Buford, and Byther Smith.
Ian happily escaped packing and lugging a drum kit to now concentrate on his own music playing a variety of instruments including guitar, mandolin, and cittern (a Celtic folk instrument). His music is a fusion of influences from his upbringing in the North of England and passionate interest in American roots music.
